Coaching in a group environment can be a fun, social way of developing new skills in a low pressure environment while meeting like minded riders on the same journey. We run a variety of group coaching for beginners and intermediate adults, don’t be shy you don’t need to be an amazing rider to enjoy these sessions…. In fact that is the point, these are to help you become one!
General Beginner Sessions are suitable for any rider comfortable and confident riding bikes, but can be new to mountain biking. These sessions focus on consolidating fundamental braking and body position skill that will allow you to tackle beginner and lower intermediate trails and terrain with confidence.
General Intermediate Sessions are suitable for any rider comfortable and confident riding bikes down intermediate mountain bike specific trail. These sessions focus on building on fundamental braking and body position skills while developing more advanced cornering and pressure control skills for more grip, greater speed and more flow and control.
Learn to Jump Sessions: These are an introduction to jumping for intermediate riders confident on blue runs. It is not a “do huge sends and mad tricks” lesson so if you’re already comfortably jumping small table jumps (i.e the milkmaid jumps) this may not provide much additional help
The bike must be of a standard that doesn’t represent an unreasonable safety risk when riding on mountain bike trails. A suitable bike be a mountain bike specific bike and will have:

While bikes do not have to be super high end, they must be well maintained and in good working order.
Price includes delivery to program and helmet. Please indicate in the booking notes if you require a bike and we will contact you to arrange.
The event will run in wet weather unless it presents a safety issue so be prepared with appropriate wet weather gear if the forecast looks wet. If we cancel the event due to the forecast a full refund will be provided. There are no refunds if participants choose not to ride due to the forecast, being tired or any other reason, however we may, at our discretion be able to arrange a discount or credit for a future session.
