Showcasing the best of Noosa
Zero emissions touring
From the shop the route heads to the Noosa River at Noosaville and follows it along Gympie Terrace and Hilton Terrace into Tewantin. It’s flat and sealed, an easy warm up with the water beside you.
From Tewantin you head west on Cooroy Noosa Road, riding sections of the Noosa Triathlon bike course. The climbing comes early: 3 km up Gyndier Drive to Sunrise Road, the hill racers know as Garmin Hill. Over the top the road rolls through hinterland farmland, past the back of Lake Macdonald, to the turnaround at the Maple Street roundabout in Cooroy’s main street, right by the cafes.
The return runs back down the range, so keep your speed in check, then Beckmans Road brings you home to the shop. It’s 41 km with about 340 m of climbing, all on sealed roads with narrow shoulders in places. This is a road ride for confident riders. We supply a premium road bike, or a gravel bike if you prefer.

We load GPS maps with spoken directions onto your phone, so please bring it fully charged. Phone holders are provided, or we can load maps onto most GPS devices.
For MTB routes, universal phone mounts are not suitable. Quad Lock mounts are available if you have a compatible case, or phones with Quad Lock cases can be rented.
You can start whenever suits you from 8:30am and don't need to nominate a start time, but you'll need to be back by 4pm, so we wouldn't recommend setting off any later than 12pm.
Yes, free street parking is available at our start location.
Helmets, locks and water bottles come with every bike. Phone mounts are included too, except on our mountain bikes and e-mountain bikes, where a universal mount is not safe to use off road.
Baskets come fitted to our cruisers, e-cruisers and fat bikes.
Gel seats and riding backpacks are also available free on request. Just ask when you book, or when you pick up.
One GPS map is included per booking.
One booking covers your whole group. Maps are set up in store on the day, and anyone in your group can also download the app ahead of time from the link in your booking confirmation email.
